To understand and grasp the industry enterprise production dynamics and development status, better service enterprises, at the same time for the relevant government departments decision-making and enterprise production and operation to provide scientific basis, on May 24th 2022 we attended the online conference organized by the Secretariat of Tire Retreading Branch of China Tire Recycling Association. The conference is for a sample survey and statistics of production and operation in 2021 from 36 tire renovation member enterprises in 16 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) .

　　The press conference reported and summarized the production situation of the enterprise, the main problems faced by the tire renovation enterprises and some suggestions on the future development of the industry.

　　At the meeting, Zhang Luming released the "2021 Tire Retreading Industry Some Enterprises Production and Operation Survey Statistical Report". Based on the sampling survey statistics of 36 tire retreading enterprises in 16 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) in 2021, this annual report analyzes the production capacity and actual production situation of enterprises, product types, brand building, equipment and technology, old tires sources, user types, green environmental protection, energy saving and preferential policies for enterprises. According to the report, the actual annual output of 36 enterprises in 2021 totaled 718,000 standard conversion pieces, accounting for 34.9% of the total designed production capacity. Compared with the output of retreaded tires in 2021 and 2020, there are 25 enterprises that increase production or are flat, accounting for 69.4%; 11 enterprises that reduce production, accounting for 30.6%.

　　The participating experts expressed their opinions and suggestions on issues such as the extended producer responsibility system, tire chip implantation, the import of old tires, and the determination of technical standards for tire retreadability.

　　After listening to the report and the speeches of experts, Zhu Jun conducted in-depth communication with everyone on hot and difficult issues such as the opportunities and challenges of the current development of the industry, the support of national policies, and the initiatives of the association to lead and promote the development of the industry. Zhu Jun pointed out that the China Tire Recycling Association has always advocated that the comprehensive utilization industry of waste tires should take "resource utilization as the mainstay and harmless disposal of the bottom" as the basic point, form a pattern of "cascade utilization" of waste tires, and promote the comprehensive, balanced and coordinated development of the industry. It should be said that the opportunities and challenges of industry development coexist. Zhu Jun stressed that although there are still certain difficulties in the development of the industry, as long as a joint force is formed, relying on the strength of the industry, the strength of enterprises, the strength of market players, and the support of the national industrial policy, I believe that the development prospects of the industry will become better and better.
