Overall Solution of Waste Rubber and Plastic Pyrolysis


1. Project introduction

The project focuses on the recycling of waste plastics and aims at safety,environmental protection and high efficiency. It is mainly committed to the crushing, drying and sorting of waste plastics in paper mills and the high-temperature pyrolysis of broken plastic particles.

The continuous crushing and pyrolysis production line of waste plastics mainly includes three parts,raw material pretreatment process,high-temperature pyrolysis process and post-treatment process of pyrolysis products.

 Main parameters of equipment


The pretreatment process of raw materials includes crushing,magnetic separation,drying and sorting of waste rubber and plastic raw materials. The specific pretreatment process shall be determined according to the actual situation of raw materials (humidity,metal and impurity content,etc.). The project is equipped with four pretreatment production lines,with an annual treatment capacity of about 200000 tons.

The high-temperature pyrolysis process is to conduct high-temperature pyrolysis of relatively uniform plastic particles after pretreatment in the state of no oxygen (or hypoxia). The pyrolysis products are usually pyrolysis carbon black,pyrolysis oil and pyrolysis non condensable gas. Among them,the output ratio of pyrolysis oil and pyrolysis gas can be adjusted on demand by controlling the pyrolysis temperature. The waste plastic pyrolysis furnace is generally made of 310S stainless steel, and its temperature is about 600 ~ 650 ℃. The pyrolysis furnace adopts the overall scheme of continuous feeding, continuous propulsion and continuous slag discharge. The high-temperature pyrolysis furnace is heated by an independent burner,and the temperature required for heating can be adjusted and controlled according to the demand. The fuel gas burned by the burner is the treated pyrolysis gas, realizing the “self-sufficiency”of the equipment. The project is equipped with 20 high-temperature pyrolysis furnaces,with an annual treatment capacity of about 200000 tons of waste plastics.


Pyrolysis Furnace


The post-treatment of pyrolysis products mainly refers to the treatment of pyrolysis carbon black,pyrolysis oil and pyrolysis gas. After grinding and modification,cracked carbon black can be used in the production of rubber products. The pyrolysis oil produced in the furnace has high temperature and contains sulfide, which needs to be cooled and desulfurized. The treated oil can be made into solvent oil,gasoline and diesel raw oil,marine fuel oil and limonene.


2. Characteristics of production line

1、It is devoted to to the high-temperature pyrolysis of waste plastic products and waste rubber products. The production line is equipped with waste heat recovery system and circulating cooling system to recover resources to the greatest exten,so as to realize resource reuse;

2、The production line realizes continuous and stable operation,is not affected by environmental factors,is safe and environmentally friendly,and the pretreatment process, pyrolysis process and post-treatment process are carried out in a closed manner,without secondary pollution,high efficiency and environmental protection;

3、The configuration of the production line is perfect and the degree of automation is high. Through DCS / PLC intelligent control system,information collection and real-time monitoring are carried out for each equipment on the production line,so as to realize safe and intelligent operation and reduce staffing requirements;

4、It can provide overall solutions such as production line design planning,equipment configuration and supply,process flow guidance and after-sales service as needed.
